Wouldn't it be interesting to see what other people make for ATC backgrounds? I think so. In this swap you'll make 3 backgrounds for ATCs. Ripped paper collage, painting, stenciling, drawing, zentangles, doodles - your choice. DO NOT simply cut out a picture from a magazine and slap it on OR put a big sticker and call it a background. This swap is SENDER's CHOICE, but it would be nice to consult your partner's (you will have ONE partner) profile for color ideas and any technique s/he really likes. Please make sure your ATCs are the appropriate size - sports trading card size or 2 1â„2 by 3 1â„2 inches (64 mm × 89 mm). Please be sure that your card base is sturdy enough to support whatever medium you use (painting, collage, etc). Keep in mind that if the envelope you mail your ATC backgrounds in is too thick you will need to add more postage as it will beconsidered "non-machineable" by the US Postal Service. This is not a newbie friendly swap and you must have a 4.9 rating, with no 1's or 3's since December 15. I generally do not angel swaps but if you have a real problem, do contact me. Again, you will have 1 partner and make 3 backgrounds. By participating in the swap you're allowing your partner to make ATCs with your backgrounds without giving credit. Do be sure to enclose a note with your backgrounds with your Swap Bot name and the name of the swap. Please do not sign your backgrounds. Receivers: if your partner has sent 3 backgrounds that aren't simply a cut piece from a magazine, she deserves a 5 even if you're not fond of the designs. Please, please do be imaginative with this swap. Your partner will love it. |
