I would love to get any postcards that are addressed to Barb DeVoll (my mom and I have the same address) and have the words "salamander cannonball" on them! And if you write your swap-bot name and the name of the swap on it (even better if you can avoid using the word swap) I'll know exactly who to thank! I love stamps and I do collect them so this is a great way in collecting stamps and postcards in the same time. I love the classic mini car and if there is a postcard with that car would be great ! I love to know where you are from as well !

I hope I can join. I'm a newbie. My profile isn't very long but it does give more than my address. I'd love handmade postcards, but store bought is also good.

I changed the send date to Nov 4th. Everyone should have them mailed out by then. This swap has been up for awhile now. I have all my postcards ready to address and mail out!

I don't write out postcards until I read the profiles of the people I am paired up with in case they like a particular postcard. If they really like something, I try to match them with the postcard. But I take postcard collecting more seriously than most people. :)

Please send us postcards from where you are from if possible. We are studyings the seven continents this year and would love to use them for our studies. It doesn't matter where you are from. If this isn't possible, don't worry. Send whatever you have as long as it is nice.

aw, i got matched with someone i just had in a postcard swap a few weeks ago! just lucky i guess.

I got my postcard from naynay on Friday and I just wanted to say that Mount St. Helens looks beautiful...even with all that ash spouting out. It would be scary living near it though eh?

Artgirl1 I sent mine out on the 31st and everyone else got theirs but she didnt even pm me to say she didnt get it just put a 1 there what a chance I had swap bot second thoughts I thought it was a good place but not so sure now... thanks Leann

You should wait at least two weeks after the sent date, especially if it's international, to be sure it isn't floating in the mail somewhere.

Also, there has been quite a few people who found postcards tucked into their newspaper or magazine. Be sure to thoroghly check your end before rating.

You can always go back and change your rating. If you later receive the package or postcard then go back and change it. Most people would like a notice and/or second chance to make up for a low rating if you will let them! Remember you are both a swapper and a swappie. (What goes around comes around) Think if it were me...

Penpallingfool: I am sorry about the "1" rating, but to date (11-24-08) I have not received anything. I do not get newspapers or magazines to my mailbox address.

I would not want to put a nasty comment on someone's board either. It is very unnecessary to post "so new ... rated a 1 without e-mailing me ... BEWARE"???!!!

I may be new to SwapBot, but I am not new to swapping. I've done it for about 6-7 years. USA and International. I know that an International Post Card (or "first class mail international) cost 94 cents.

I will wait more time to receive items on my next swaps. I expect that if someone is LATE SENDING OUT, they should contact the people they are sending to. Not the other way around.

I'm sorry to say I won't change the rating because of the nasty public comment that Penpallingfool left for me.
