UHM: Washifyed Pen Pal Letter

Time to break out that stash of washi tape you have been hoarding and do a little crafting with it! This swap is a great way to use some of those samples!

• Use the tape in long strips or short little pieces to decorate some paper. Can be nice stationary or lined notebook variety, or even a piece of card stock you can fold into a card. Make a fancy design all coordinating or apply it wabi-sabi style here and there along the edges. You decide what you want to create with it.

• Write a letter to your partner on your creation. In the letter, choose one, two (all?) of the topics below to write about, and introduce yourself if you haven't swapped before.

• Describe your washi collection

• Tell about the areas where you create
• Share an idea or two for different ways to use washi tape

• Give a couple names of online sources for your favorite tape buying sprees

• Select four or five of your favorite tapes (or some you think your partner would like) to send with your letter. Wrap 15" or more onto a slick card, such as a tape covered playing card, a piece of laminated card, etc.

• Finally, use some washi tape on the outside of your mailing envelope to decorate it.
