Beads and Buttons Matchbox Fill #2

Hi! I signed up for the first bead and button matchbox fill... It hasn't ended yet so that may be why she hasn't set up a new one yet? I'm not sure but either way yippy for bead and button matchbox fill swaps!! haha

ohhh i am started to get obsessed with buttons, esp the ones that look like things. i am so glad to see another one of these. wheeee!

What size is the matchbox? I know of 2 sizes, the small ones and the ones for kitchen matches. Which will you be using? Thanks

hi, yeah i was waiting, but i am happy to join this one,

i make such long waits between the sign up dates and the send dates so everyone can have more than sufficent time to really be sure and send their swaps without being "late" cuz sometimes life gets in the way of our swaps!!!!lol

To clarify, because I am an international - by 'buttons' do you mean the kind that people use to fasten up clothing, or do you mean the kind that we pin onto clothes, ie 'badges'?

These are the fun kind of swaps I really like. I'm still waiting for my one from the first matchbox swap to arrive, but I had so much fun putting the other one together.

I love looking in the button section of the local craft shop, I never normally stop there, unless I'm getting something for exchanges.

Hi all, sorry i\'ve been late to reply, i\'ve been ill.

Small matchbox is fine, I usually use one that measures: 2.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide with a depth of just under half an inch. In metric that\'s 5.5 cm long, 3.5 cm wide, and a depth of 1 cm.

By buttons i meant the sew on type, but if you can fit the pin on type ones (badges) in there, i\'m sure your partner would like them too!

Yeah Noel, I like to leave a gap between signing up and sending out, as we\'re all busy...the mail can take ages, and life happens, regardless of your best intentions.

It\'s hard to fit stuff in a matchbox haha. Some of my beads are too big.

Helen yours went out on the 28th if I remember right. I put a lot of stamps on it, like you like, and I hope I got enough on there!

Hi! I didn´t receive anything yet... :( I´m still waiting...

I've had bad luck with the bead and button matchbox swaps.... The first one I never received anything and for this one I did receive and it was great but the person I sent to doesn't respond to messages or leave ratings so I have no idea if she got it. It's just a bummer to spend time making something you think they'll love and then never hearing from them again...

Oh and Chica-guapa I'll be you swap angel if you need one just let me know!

I really hope yours comes through chica-guapa. I sent it a long time ago so I don't know whether we're going to have to give up hope soon :(

If it doesnt come through in a bit I will try and make something else to send out to you ;D
