Description:

Sorry I should have done this earlier. Thank you howunremarkable for allowing me to do this version of your swap and for allowing me to use your description.

For this swap, we will each fill one journal with at least twenty entries on topics of your choosing. The only catch is that each entry must contain a list of some kind.

Guidelines

You may use any type of journal that you want (hardcover, softcover, Moleskine, handmade, and so on and so forth), but it must be an actual, physical journal. This means no journals that are simply typed pieces of paper stapled together. Please send something of the same quality that you'd like to receive.

Feel free to decorate and embellish the journal if you choose.

You may write about any topics you like, but please be respectful of your partner. While you may write about topics like politics/religion/sexuality/etc., please consider your partner's feelings...And please don't try to convert them to your beliefs.

Each of the entries must contain some kind of list. You can make the list a primary feature of the entry, or something rather secondary. (Example: your entire entry might be a list of resolutions for the next month...Or it might be a story about what you did today, with a list of the foods you ate embedded within it).

If you prefer not to handwrite your journal, please paste the typed entries into a physical journal.

Suggestions/Ideas (feel free to add your own in the comments!

Things you did before noon today.

CDs you couldn't live without.

Goals/plans for the next six months.

Reasons you are partial to your significant other.

Personality traits you have.

Titles of poems/movies/songs/books you like.

Household chores you can't stand.

Your shoping list

Wishes and dreams

Favouite foods

Top ways you waste time online.

Favorite swaps you've participated in.

...and so on. Use your imagination. For inspiration, you might try looking over some of the "100 Things" swaps that have taken place on Swap-Bot (type 100 Things into the search for some ideas) or try listography.com.

No recent "no sends."

You must have completed at least five mail swaps in order to participate. Sorry--no newbies for this one.

I reserve the right to ban anyone who seems questionable

Thank you for starting an international version, fairyfufu! It would be great if you could provide a link (or at least credit back somehow) to the original, especially because so much of the text was written by me. Thank you!

Do we fill the whole journal or just some of it?

im going to try very hard to FILL my journal, but from the swap it says 20 entries, some will be longer lists and some will of course be shorter! i have several that are over 100 of something so my journal will be close to filled i would think

For a journal, could we use just a simple notebook/composition book?
