Description:

Hello lucky ones,

are you sad that everybody is so busy with the year's ending that nobody finds time to create a whimsy jar swap? Here it is: a whimsy jar swap that takes the time to end this year without hectic and welcomes the new year with surprises and a full jar of good luck!

You will have enough time to join this swap, loads of time to collect nice items for your partner and send it after the busy Christmas time is over.

Your whimsy jar is all about GOOD LUCK! Therefore put all those things in a clean jar of glass (e.g. pesto, pasta sauce, marmelade, mixed pickles glass jar) or plastic:

  • 12 positive quotes about luck
  • 12 wishes for the new year
  • 3 "likes" or "wishlist" items that will make your partner feel truly lucky to have you as her swap partner
  • something related to a "good luck" tradition of your culture
  • something related to love so your partner will always feel loved
  • a coin so your partner will never be in financial misery

Please decorate your whimsy jar. If there is still space in your jar, aim high for a heart and add other things that will make your partner squeal of joy and luck.

The SIZE of your jar doesn't matter, but everything above has to fit in there. Make it as big as you wish or keep it tiny.

Make sure you have a well-filled out "likes"/wishlist section on your profile that offers an affordable variety. I will check all profiles; if I find a profile that lists only extremely exclusive/expensive "likes" or has no "likes" section, I'll have to ban her from this swap. This swap is meant to be elaborate, but affordable for everyone.

No recent unsolved 1s and 3s; I'll check all profiles and remove anyone I don't see fit for this swap. No noobies, sorry.

If you have no idea, what a whismy jar is or how to decorate it: google picture search is only one click away ;)

Have fun! Merry Christmas and a happy and LUCKY new year!

Does it have to be glass?

Cha13 11/13/2015 #

Plastic might be safer to send from abroad! Not even sure you can send a glass item from the UK!!

Houstonsgal 11/13/2015 #

Glass will be heavy. Heavy=expensive international postage. Even a small glass jar will be costly.

User @PrincessAllie is in this swap and has an old profile here. This account will be suspended soon by admin. Any questions, just message me.

Edited: The jar does not have to be glass, but can also be made of plastic!

Just a FYI the old profile is not me! If you want to chat about this please contact me directly! Thank you!!

Ps.. The person above is only saying this because she was upset that I gave her friend a one rating.. I have taking that rating down since then because I am not into DRAMA and some people on this site clearly have no lives and have to pick on others and or make up lies.. BUT in the end it just makes then look bad. The person above has also gone and told all the groups I was in these lies too.. this is just not ok

@princessallie = @aliciaamy = @bostongirl79 Check out the similarities yourself.

A store bought plastic container would be preferable. I got a reused pickle jar once and wasn't too happy about it

Or store bought glass in the us
