Description:

I recently bought a tube of Mini M&M,s, as I was wanting some candy. I saved the tube thinking it would be neat to do something with it. I was then searching through my button tin, looking for a button for a project I was working on. Thinking I have a lot of buttons, it would be nice to share, but it would nice to have something different too.

Then it hit me.

Combine the two, and make a swap so here it is.

This will be a US Only Swap, and you will have 1 partner to send to. This is senders choice.

So what you will do is go to your local store and buy a tube of Mini M&M’s, the single serve one, you can get the mega one if you choose - (more candy :) ) Eat the candy!

Clean out the tube, so there is nothing sticky inside.

Then decorate the outside of the tube, you can use pretty paper, fabric, ribbon, trims etc.

Then fill the tube up with an assortment of buttons- different colors, shapes, and sizes. Buttons are great for all kinds of projects, and its fun to have a various assortment. The buttons are to be the sew on kind, with holes in them, or a shank on the back. The buttons can be new , or from your stash, if there from your stash, make sure they are clean, and in good useable condition. You should be able to fit about 30 buttons in the tube depending on the size.

Pop the decorated, and filled tube in a baggie, that way in case the lid comes open in transit, you won’t have an envie full of buttons, include a note with the swap name, your name, and your user name( I am hosting this in several groups, so this is important so I know, and you as well, what swap this is).

Pop the baggie in a little bubble envelope and send it on it’s way to your awaiting partner.

Since this is a group swap there shouldn’t be any issues. Please send on time and rate promptly. I know life happens, so if something comes up, please be in contact with me, and your partner. I will angel if needed, after all attempts to make good have failed , and the swap is rated accordingly.

Have Fun!

I have been informed that October 21rst is National Count Your Buttons Day
