Description:

For this swap we will be creating a pocket letter dedicated to the moon and night sky. This swap is for anyone, even pocket letter newbies, who want to get a little artistic. The pocket letter can feature anything that may relate to the moon and night sky as you interpret it. One pocket should contain a short note and the other 8 should contain items that pertain to this group (as you in interpret it). The back does not have to be decorated.

Things you can put in the individual pockets:

-spells

-herbs

-tea (individually wrapped)

-resin incense

-talisman

-handmade art

-paper items

-stickers

-dried flowers

-wax seals

and much more.

What is a pocket letter?

Look at the link for an in-depth explanation of a pocket letter. But here is a shortened version:

Pocket letters are made with translucent 9 pocket trading card pages like this. Each pocket should contain some kind of decorating, whether it be quotes or decorated cards that fit into the pocket. I personally use ATC blanks and decorate each one. This is only my personal style, however, and you can pretty much do whatever you want with it. In the back of each pocket, you place a small treat or gift of some kind. It can be flat items, like paper items or ephemera, or things like tea, charms, or anything that fits. You then fold the pocket letter all together when you're done (so it's roughly the size of a business envelope) and mail it. I usually mail mine in a bubble mailer but some people do, in fact, use business sized envelopes!
