Thanks @kiddo47 for the Spooky Christmas suggestion!

Create for your one partner an ornament (something that can hang like on A halloween tree-I still need to get one!) in the general theme of spooky winter. You may craft in any medium of your choice and it can be 3D or flat.

Ideas: take a typical winter character and place them in a halloween setting (ex: a snowman that is haunting kids) or take a typical halloween character and put them in a winter setting (ie: a skeleton delivering Christmas presents), Santa dressed up in a halloween costume, evil elves making evil toys, a zombie obsessed with candy canes, not brains, a haunted dreidel, etc etc. Nightmare before Christmas theme fits, too, of course. Sender's choice but it is thoughtful to look at your partner's profile.

International, send on time, do nice work. Open to all group members but I do look at profiles before assigning. I would angel if you have to give your partner a 1 and I would send them a lump of coal!

Are all of the swaps in this group international?

EmilyT 10/23/2015 #

@chinacat I believe that isn't a requirement. I tend to make mine international and the founder lives in Canada so she does too but I think I remember a message quite some time ago where she was looking for hosts to even host regional swaps where ever they live if interested.

Thank you, Emily!

I have a quick question: I have tried 3 times to create something...all major fails..LOL Can I completely alter a small ornament that is store bought? I would totally create my own from it but I am just having trouble making something from scratch.

Sorry I didn't see this! I don't check the comments often. But yes, you can alter a store bought ornament! I will pm you, too.
