Description:

Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon is just what it sounds like, a Read-a-Thon for 24 Hours. This Dewey's is held on Oct 17th, 2015.

You do NOT have to participate the full 24 hours, the point is just to read as much as you can in the 24 hours, though many do the full 24 hours (including me!).

What is Dewey’s 24-Hour Read-a-thon? For 24 hours, we read books, post to our blogs, Twitters, Tumblrs, Goodreads and MORE about our reading, and visit other readers’ homes online. We also participate in mini-challenges throughout the day.

If you'd like to join in ~

  • Sign up here ~ Dewey's 24 Hr RaT Sign-Ups
  • During the RaT ~ READ, read, read! :)
  • Once it's over, email or SB message your partner about your experiences

Signups at Dewey's are for if you want to be eligible to win prices, and even to have people come to your blog/Twitter/ect.... and cheer you on! You don't have to sign up to participate in this swap, though I suggest it, but you MUST do the reading on Oct 17th, even if it's not the full 24 hours. The time that Dewey's starts in each time zone is listed here.

After the Read-a-Thon, email your partner about it, let them know if you had any goals ~ what they were and if you met them. Did you do any challenges? Did you win any prizes? What books were your favorites? What did you enjoy about the RaT?

Also, if you'd like, feel free to post your blog (GoodReads, Twitter, ect) in the comments below so we can follow you if you'd like us to. Most importantly, have fun. :)
