Description:

This is a simple swap to help all you newbies out there get swappin'. Not-newbies are also welcome--but no Flakers!

All participants MUST have a well filled out profile--PM me if you have questions!

You will have 2 partners, and send each of them 2 notecards with matching envelopes.(a total of 4 cards) This shouldn't be more postage than a regular letter. You can fit two notecards and their envelopes into a greeting card envelope. Don't make them too thick!

You can make the notecards yourself, or purchase them (I saw some nice ones at my local dollar store)

Notecards are blank inside, decorated on the front and measure 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" or reasonably close. If you make your own, white and colored envelopes of the 4 3/8" x 5 3/4" are available at Wal-Mart and office supply stores, and sites online as well, or, you can also make the envelopes if you like.

Ruth Ann Zaroff has some terrific templates for making envelopes of all types.

Hearts are usually earned by adding extra treats to your package, often little items from your partners' profiles, things they can use in their arts and crafts, or whatever you think they would like. For example, if I have a partner that does a lot of ATCs, I send small pieces of very special papers and some small embellishments. If they are a foodie, I might tuck in a few recipe cards of my favorites, etc.

Nothing extra is necessary to earn a 5 rating, just send the required two cards and envelopes to your partners and send it on time! Good communication make a good swapper, too. Send your partner a PM (private message sent through the Swap-bot message system), or an e-mail when you mail out your package, and send a note to your sending partner when you receive yours, and... Rate promptly! But give a chance if you don't receive something--communicate with your partner before rating low.

Most of all, have fun!

Contact me with any questions or concerns about this swap.

"just send the required three cards and envelopes to your partners"

You meant two, right? I'm just making sure...

Looking forward to this swap! Making notecards is really fun and I haven't done it in a long time, so this will be a great opportunity to get into it again.

Yes! Thanks for noticing that! I have another notecard swap with three, but I made this one two to help ease the postage costs internationally.
