Tim Holtz Twelve Tags of 2015: September

At 7 a.m. today Tim Holtz posted this message with his September Tag: "exploring the use of color and texture is one of my favorite things to do. by combining these elements in various ways it allows the imagination to run wild with possibility. alcohol inks have a unique ability to blend into vibrant colorful backgrounds on slick surfaces, and although the techniques can vary, the end results are always amazing. today we’ll take it one step further by adding transparent layers of texture and imagery to immerse yourself in an artistic wonderland…t!m

So it must be alcohol ink time---you only need a couple colors, so don't shy away for that reason. If you want to follow his design exactly, you'll need frosted film and Glossy Alcohol Ink paper. Remember that his tag is an inspiration for you to imitate and create your own version which may not look exactly like his. Just be sure it is close enough to recognize for his September tag.
