I have beautiful stone beads to use of hematite, mother of pearl and the like. I think I will make the part where the cross goes an ankh or mini Goddess. Let's use nice, high quality glass, stone, bone, horn, ceramic beads, no plastic please.

What would you use in between the beads or whatever?

My beads were individual and large enough that I didn't many spacers. When I did, I used a clear seed bead so as not to take away from the main design. That's the great thing about these - you can do anything you want, any way you want. If you don't like something, just unstring them and start over:)

I love this idea and have this swap on watch. I am so busy and going over the edge - sometime I feel that way. However, if I can drag the bead box out by 10/8. Not sure if i can get the brain to engage any more... :(

I've just bought a wonderful goddess pendant on etsy for the rosary. Can't wait to start. :-)

I believe I have a simple question, how long should it be or is it my preference?

I would think we would want them long enough to fit over our heads and wear as a necklace. I don't want to specify something that creates a creative block but it would be nice if we could wear these, if desired.

I don't mean sound dumb but are there a specific number of beads that need to be used? I think catholic rosaries are made a specific way,I'm not sure. I've already started but can start over easily. Thanks for the help.

o.k., I made the sign-up date so it is arriving sooner as not to extend the send by date too much longer. This will give us more time to work on our project once partners are assigned. I hope this works out for everyone still.
