They sell the spool knitter at Michaels and JoAnn and there are a couple of brands. One is made by Clover. They are about 6.00 but both stores also have their coupons (usually weekly). I think they sell them at target in the children's craft section as well.

You can also take an empty spool and 4 small nails and make one in less than 2 minutes. Just hammer the nails in an even "square shape" around the opening in the center of the spool. Do a google search, instructions are on the net.

just before a sign up, do you have to use yarn, could we use wire threaded with beads etc?
