Description:

You will send your partner one envelope (note card, business size or larger) filled with RECYCLED supplies. Supplies can be anything recycled that could go on an altered book page - please just make sure it's clean and not too destroyed - if they can't glue it without it falling apart, it's probably too destroyed.

While I guess you could just throw some items into an envelope instead of your recycle bin, please be creative.

--Maybe instead of just a security envelope, some punches made out of security envelope or a stamp imprint on security envelope paper.

--Instead of a page from the newspaper or magazine, maybe clip out a specific comic or headline.

--Not all garbage is garbage! Interesting candy wrappers, food labels,

--The front side of a greeting card can provide great images

--Remember ephemera -- movie or event ticket stubs, used gift cards, coupons, flyers, used lottery tickets, brochures... (please just try to send something that is truly recycled that the average person, even on swap-bot, might not save)

--Recycle your art -- have something you didn't like that you've set aside because you can't throw it out? Have a great piece of mail art you received, but it's not quite your style? Pass it on!

--Embellishments -- if you want to send these, please share ideas in the comments, I'm sure there is something that would qualify but I'm drawing a blank.

Again, please just be creative and send something fun and useful - although this is recycled stuff, don't just grab a few things from your recycle bin and garbage and call it good. Try to choose things that have interest and will inspire - or do something to them to add interest and inspiration.

Don't just send two or three items. The envelope should weight at least 1oz, you may send extra, but you should only need one or two stamps for this swap. You may send embelishments or demensional items as long as you remember it might cost a little more. Be sure to write non-machinable on any rigid or lumpy envelopes.
