Description:

I love collecting recipes and have lots of those free recipe cards that you get from supermarkets and out of magazines lying around. So I thought I would do a swap for the cards.

You will have 3 partners and send each partner 4 recipe cards. They can be the free ones from supermarkets, magazines, postcards or even your own recipe cards.

This swap is open to all, I will be checking for flakers and recent no sends.

Have fun

I'd love to join this swap but I don't have any recipe cards myself but I'd love to make some, what exactly should the dimensions be? Any specifics as to what the card should look like?

I think the average recipe card size is about 4 x 6 inches. Your more than welcome to make your own and decorate them any way you want.

It's great that we can make our own recipe cards. I already do that for myself. Julie

can we send duplicates or does it have to be 4 different cards to 3 different people. what I'm asking is do we need 12 different recipes?

Do we write a recipe on the card or just leave them blank?

ndnchick 09/13/2008 #

Ok, I just reread it and I'm confused. Are we sending blank recipes cards or cards that already have recipes on them?

I thought it was for just blank cards, but I don't want to get a low rating because I didn't understand.

The way I took it is that you send 3 people 4 recipes each. The free recipe cards from the store that she mentioned already have recipes printed on them--sort of like a promotion for the ingredience that they want you to buy, but they come out with some awesome recipes for that!So we prob need to post our likes and dislikes ...

I love cookie and dessert recipes, crockpot, and cassaroles---I do not like peas, hot spicy foods or onions. However I can substitute or leave things out to tweek it to my families taste.
