Description:

Everyone ready for round 9? Here we go!

Kawaii sticker flakes seeking dinner, a few friends, and someone to launch them into the next leg of their journey. All the usual kawaii swap rules apply >> stickers must be kawaii brands. No Disney, Snoopy, My Little Pony, etc. Stickers from sheets are okay.

If this is your first round you’ve joined or you sent the card from the last swap home or if you haven’t yet received a postcard from the last round,

  • Write your name and address as the destination on any postcard :: kawaii, from your town, sturdy crafted, or blank. The best postcards are no larger than 4.5x6" and fit into a photo envelope.
  • Write the swap series name on the message side of the postcard
  • On a memo sheet or swap tag, write at least the swap name and your username. More is good. What's going on in your kawaii life?
  • Put the postcard and the memo sheet or tag in an envelope and send it to your partner

When you receive a postcard,

  • Rate the sender as usual
  • Slap on a sticker flake or two or three, or a little tape and rub ‘em to make sure they are firmly stuck. Both sides of the postcard are fair game, especially blank postcards.
  • If your stickers take the last bit of free space on the postcard, then add a stamp and your return address and send it home. For the next round, start a new postcard (see above).
  • Put it in a safe place >> don’t lose it
  • Sign up for the next round and send the saved postcard to your partner

If you cannot sign up for the next round, save the postcard in a safe place for the round after that.

When there’s no room for another sticker, stamp the postcard, add your return address or username, and drop it in the mail. Start a new card in the next round.

When your postcard arrives in your mailbox, leave a comment for the sender.
