My local shop is actually in a different state than my home. Is that ok?

Sure. As long as it is row by row.

I just found out that some of the shops did not get their license plates. So the pattern and the license plate do not have to come from the same shop.

Hi, I am not joining the swap, but was already aware of the Row by Row competition. Yesterday I went to our local quilt shop and picked up the pattern and instructions only (not buying fabric until I have patterns for at least 4 Rows)...the shop owner said that everything is a PHOTO COPY that she printed out to make up the Row Kits. The pattern fits on standard printer paper 8.5 x 11 inches and is true to size required.

I have these patterns to swap: Panoramic Vista , Cactus Silhouettes , Quail Run , Froggies , Coyote Moon , Arizona Rainforest , Grand Canyon – South Rim

Flofirenzie -- I have Texas plates and patterns to swap. You said thru July 7, but some of our shops are late getting theirs out. Are you still interested in swapping?

Row By Row patterns are copy right property of shop owners, It is illegal to copy them, republish them, scan and share them without the permission of the shop owner or author of the pattern. Those actions violate the spirit of Row By Row, and is just plain theft. The patterns are given, free, for a limited time, only to those people that go to the shop in person.

Just to be CLEAR, I have PURCHASED the fabric license plates and a couple of extra kits. I am not in any way copying someone's pattern free and distributing it. Just as I would be interested in having some from other states, I'm sure that there are people that would like to have ones from Texas.
