Your Favorite/My Favorite Color Matchbox Fill

First step is to post your favorite color in a comment below (be specific, as in "lime green," not just "green"). Once your swap partner is assigned you will find her favorite color from the comments section. Here's the fun part: decorate the matchbox with the two colors and fill it with items of one, the other, or both of the colors.

Example, let's say I list lime green as my fave and my partner lists red as hers. I would then decorate the matchbox in red and lime green and fill it with lime green things, red things, and lime green-red things. (It's okay if there's another color as the background, like white, for example).

Items to include: buttons, beads, stickers, charms, ribbons, etc. Check your partner's profile, if you like, for ideas of things she might like (such as stitch markers for a knitter, etc.)

If you don't have matchboxes, you can make your own (I saw a template on the Mrs. Grossman's website), or buy the boxes at the supermarket and empty them out.(I saw them at Raley's for $1.39 for 10).

If your rating is lower than 4, or if you have more than one no send, I'll ban you from the swap. Please understand that everyone wants to get something.

If this is your first swap, you may not realize that you won't get your partner assigned until February 15. So, there's nothing to worry about until then, and you don't have to "do" anything until then.
