Description:

I'll be hosting a series of penpal / letter swaps. Some of them will be type 2 or type 3 if there is any art involved. These swaps will run throughout May and June and you can join in at any time. Please join with the intention of replying back to your partner. It is not compulsory, as you may not "click" with that said person - but these swaps are mostly, intended to help you get some new letter friends.

Rules

  • 1 partner.

  • Send your partner 1 handwritten letter.

  • Letters must be at least 2 A5 sides long. Please don't send a quick note, a postcard, tiny memo sheets, or anything equivalent. This is a letter swap. Please write as much you want!

  • About you/intro is required in your letter. It's nice that your partner can know a little about you especially if they wish to write back. The rest of it is senders choice. It could be about your life/your week, what's on your mind, upcoming events, or a problem you're facing. It could be answers to questions or prompts, facts about you, stories from your past, something you love, about someone special in your life, a vacation you'd LOVE to go on, or chores you need to get done. Etc.

THIS SWAP - Along with your letter, include something made, by you. It needn't be big and ideas are endless. You could mail art the envelope (please beyond a few stickers etc, this is Type 3), make your partner an ATC, write your letter on handmade stationery, present your letter in a flip book/paper booklet or mini zine. Or you could include handmade paper crafts such as Bunting, Origami or drawings, paintings, art. Don't forget digital art or including photography prints, if that is your passion. You could even send a pocket letter, an altered item, something sewn or crocheted. It is senders choice. :)

These swaps are meant to be fun and easy. Have fun and don't forget to include your address so your partner can reply! The swap picture is NOT an example of what this swap requires and is just an example of a paper craft.
