Description:

Hello everyone!

This is my first time hosting something of this magnitude, so suggestions are highly welcomed!

I had the idea of all of us creating a Book of Shadows together through the easy pocket letter form.

Pocket letters are the next big thing in the crafting world and they are super easy to make. Usually they are for the purpose of letter writing, but because they're so easy I thought it would be a fun idea for us to use the form to swap BOS pages. If you start now and go all the way through the series you should have a decent sized book!

They are so easy because they're not as intense as full scrapbook pages and they are already in a form that makes it easy to put them into a binder.

We all know that the elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit) are a good basis for all workings. This is going to be the first mini series of the whole book with breaks in between so we don't get burnt out. :)

This one is all about Earth! So, you can include little gemstone chips, small baggies of incense blended from really earthy herbs (patchouli anyone?), and create cards in greens, browns etc, include teas and any correspondence to the element of Earth. Write out spells, chants, include mini spells. There are countless options!

My vision for this is for each of us to have a high quality BOS with all the love and energy from each other in each page.

I can only host USA only right now, in case the pages get bulky (gemstones, tealights etc) because of shipping.

Please no flaking! I will be reviewing profiles very carefully so please have a well filled out profile!

If you have any questions, feel free to message me!

Sorry @lynnerfb right now I'm playing it safe since it's my first big swap! If you want I'd be willing to do a private swap with you?

I bought the pocket pages and would love a link to see how they are done.

I love this! And I love that this one sounds useful... I hate to be a killjoy... I know I'm too serious sometimes, but if I want a useful page/pocket letter! Beautiful and useful!!! This should be amazing!!!

@njstauter Here is the link for how to make pocket letters:

some of the ideas I'm seeing (and I'm kind of looking for validation/not so much, although I guess a lot of it might be up to interpretation and one's particular Pagan path?)

*the Green Woman

*Goddess of Willendorf

*Tree of Life

*a little brown and/or green string/stick doll

*leaves

*Animals-Cow, Bear, Wolf, Snake

I want this to be amazing for my partner-- These swaps are such a good idea!

@Margo all of those are great ideas for this pocket page. Gaia, plant seeds, different herbs and things like that are acceptable as well.

Oh yes @PrairieKittin ! Your link is just what I've been hunting down :) thanks! Super excited to give these a try.

@sal410cat Thank you! I've been stumped and just trying to move through it with listing things... lol... I don't want to send my partner a pocket of leaves (the ones here in Texas atm are not pretty...)
