You are made in the image of God and when you create you honor that which is most holy and sacred within you. Creativity teacher Julia Cameron said, "Creativity is God's gift to us. Using your creativity is your gift back to God." You are meant to live creatively. Preparing a tasty new dish, planting a garden, writing a poem, restructuring a company, singing a song, decorating an office, sewing a doll's dress, building a tree house- you are born to express yourself through creative choices.

You do not have to be a fine artist or a professional musician to be creative. You can approach the whole of life creatively.

For this swap:

• Read Genesis 1 & enjoy reading about God's marvelous creation.

• In a note card, list 20 things you enjoy doing. Do one of them or better yet, try to do them all! :) Write about the creative activity or activities you chose to do.

• Create a scripture card for your partner. The size, shape, color, materials & everything is up to you. Be creative & make a special scripture card for her.
