Please send a card to my recovering boyfriend

My boyfriend has his 28th birthday coming up and while it might be like most any other birthday, I want this one to be extra special because he is also recovering from surgery for papillary thyroid cancer. He was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago then had surgery shortly after, so it came as a bit of a shock for him even though it all happened so quickly. He still remains on the road to recovery. He is a medical student and returned to school to finish up the rigorous semester, even with the aches, pains, and fatigue. I'm very proud of him for taking it all in stride.

For this swap, please send my boyfriend a card with a get-well-soon AND a happy birthday message inside. The card can be handmade or store-bought. I realize thyroid diseases are fairly prevalent, so if you have a positive, personal story to share for him, he would appreciate it very much. He loves receiving mail, and cards would really brighten his day!

For your partner, you will send them a handmade or store bought greeting card with an uplifting message inside...let's keep it open-ended!
