We love St. Nicholas day too and both my husband and I grew up celebrating it.

I'm really glad that you are reminded of happy memories!

In the Netherlands it's Sinterklaas. It's a very popular holiday. Almost everyone here celebrates it. In stead of christmas

Yes I love to do this one. You know in Holland we cellebrate it on the 5th off December for the kids. Sinterklaas comes end off november to our country with the boat and his helpers and they make a story off everything that is happening and is showing on TV. Daniek my son off 4 is really into it then. And put his shoe at the fireplace. I always have lots off fun organizing things for this even.

I am very excited about this swap, my husbands family is norweigan and I have and know nothing about their culture and holiday traditions, I am hoping that this will spur a new tradition in our home to connect with my husbands hertiage. My son Hunter is 1 and loves, books, cars, cookies and crackers, playing with is musically instruments, dancing to silly music and fingerpuppets. I would be great to get cultural toys if someone from the scandinavia gets me as a swap!

I am sorry I forgot to post the ages etc of my children here earlier. No worries if you already picked something out, we are not picky. They are 3 and 1 yo boys and they love candy and anything boy. Cars, trains, Bob the Builder, books. Really anything you send would be fun to receive!!

my partner that has to send to me is suspended. So I drop from this swap. Sorry. I don't want to hit my nose again by only sending and not recieving.
