Description:

Easy swap--send one oversized postcard of your choice to a partner. Write a nice message on the back, or maybe you'd like to draw something instead. International as it is only one stamp.

Must be a new postcard, store bought, sent naked, written and stamped. Senders choice but it is always nice to check your partners profile. Even if you can't send their preferred subject matter, you might be able to write about something you have in common.

Open to all with a reasonably filled profile. I will angel after you have rated your partner a 1 and let me know. This is a good chance for newbies to get an easy rating.

I'm a newbie so please forgive me for asking but does it have to be store bought? I have no idea where I could buy a postcard but I could make one. You've said we can draw something instead and that wouldn't be shop bought. What does 'sent naked' mean? It's too cold here to wear no clothes.

It does have to be store bought according to the directions. Do you have a Walgreen's where you live? They sell them. Also naked means without an envelope.

Too bad it has to be a new postcard. I have a huge vintage Wizard of Oz postcard I'd love to send... but it can wait for another swap.

@SandyLane - When the host said you could draw something, I think she meant you could do a picture instead of writing a message. But the postcard has to be store bought.

@SandyLane again! I see you live in the UK. In Birmingham, where I live, WHSmith sells postcards. So does The Works and the Tourist Information Office. But I get a lot of my postcards from museum bookshops -- they have some great ones.

I also keep my eyes open when I go to holiday places. I was recently in Llandudno and there were lots of shops selling postcards so I bought some to use for swapping.

Hi! Yes, I did make this a store bought swap but I will do another that is more open next time. I would think vintage qualifies as store bought. And by the drawing I meant you could draw instead of write. Hope you all join!
