Description:

I don't really have a favorite color, but if I was forced at gunpoint to choose just ONE color to use, today it would be green. (No promises about tomorrow!) So, how about making a note card with green tape on the front (and maybe bits on the inside if you want) with some of your green tape?

  • Your card can be a simple design of strips aligned or collaged, or more elaborate with punched or die cut shapes, etc. You can include other elements besides the tape, but be sure there is plenty of GREEN tape on there!

  • Write a friendly note to your partner inside the card.

  • Wrap 4-5 samples (12" long or more) of green washi tape around a playing card or other slick surface. Put packing tape around the card first if it isn't a solid plastic as the finish on cheap cards will come up and render the last wraps of washi unusable.

  • While you can use any type of tape for your card and envelope, be sure your samples are good quality washi, not the cheaper dollar store paper tapes or deco tape which is not easily torn.

  • Add some green tape to the front of your envelope. This can be deco tape, cheap paper tape (dollar store variety) washi, duct, etc. Just be sure it has some green in the pattern.

  • Put your lovely card with note and samples inside the decorated envie and affix sufficient postage to cover the weight.

  • Send on time and rate promptly

So happy to see these color swaps! Will you do more colors? :)
