If you're like me you ABSOLUTELY LOVE throwing your dinner in your favorite crock pot, letting it cook all day while it fills the house with that fabulous aroma, then just opening it up and serving when dinner time rolls around. I thought it would be fun to swap crock pot recipes on a monthly basis....how about you? What to join in and collect some wonderful tried and true recipes? Let's get started then!

For this swap you will send 1 recipe to 1 partner. The recipes you send MUST be for a main dish, meat, one-dish meal or casserole. I think we all have enough junk food and sweets in our diet, so let's think about collecting some healthy dinner recipes....OK?

All recipes MUST be neatly hand-written, typed or if you choose, they could be printed off, neatly cut out and glued onto 3"x 5" or 4"x 6" decorative recipe cards. If the recipes are too long to fit on the front of the card, you can either put it on 2 cards, or you can use the back of the card to finish up. All recipes must be sent on 3"x 5" or 4" x 6" decorative recipe cards. Just be sure they're done neatly. Also, please put your card in an envelope. I received one as a postcard. It had gotten wet and smeared the writing. ALSO please put a note in stating what swap the recipe is for. Many of us participate in several different recipe swaps each month....besides, it's just good manners!

The cards you send can either be store bought or printed online. There are lots of places you can print off pretty recipe cards online. Here are some wonderful web-sites you can print cards at. OH....BTW, if you decide to print the cards online, BE SURE to print them off on heavy card stock, not just plain old paper.

Free printables:

Or if you have a favorite site for printables add it to the comments below and I'll include it in next month's swap.

This is a very cheap swap to send....should only cost the price of one stamp, unless you decide to send more than one recipe or send something extra to your partner. Extras are always nice too! If your partner follows the guidelines of this swap, PLEASE rate a 5 when you receive your envie. If you do not plan on rating, PLEASE DO NOT join this swap!!!

~~IMPORTANT NOTES~~ Since more than likely alot of the same folks will join this swap month after month I have a suggestion that I think is important to mention! So that we won't end up sending the same recipe to any one person, I think it would be a good idea if we each keep a list of who we send what recipes to.

Also, please e-mail your partner with any allergies or extreme dislikes. OR check your partners profile page. Many of us have the information there.

Newbies welcomed, with a well filled out profile (I DO CHECK AND WILL BAN). No recent/unexplained low ratings. PLEASE check out my profile page and read the "About Swaps I Host" section for an in-depth explanation of my swap rules.
