Description:
Let's cross stitch our partners a cute little scissor fob! It's basically a little pillow around 3 inches by 3 inches in size with something cross stitched on both sides. Most that I've seen have motifs stitched on one side and initials on the other but of course you can let your imagination run wild and do whatever you want. Then you hand sew or whip stitch them together after putting a little stuffing in the middle to make it easier to hold/stab a needle or pins in it. Make sure you attach some kind of cording so your partner can hang your masterpiece from their favorite craft scissors. I will leave the theme open to you but check your partner for preferences. LOL stay tuned. I realized when I read the instructions for doing a biscornu they were pretty much the same as a fob just where you lined up your linen. Once we get a little practice the "normal" way I think we'll be braver!

Lining up a biscornu is dead easy provided you read the instructions properly. It must be, cos I managed it lol. Loads of tutorials on T'interweb. I've finally pulled my finger out and stitched the first side of my scissor fob ;-)

All my cross stitch stuff is in my outside storage unit and it's snowing. I should've pulled it all out last week boo.

Nah. He's a bloke. He'll be fine lol. My scissor fob is lovingly crafted, enveloped up and will be at the mercy of the postal service as of tomorrow lunchtime xx

My little fob is not done yet; I've been messing around with my photography. But I've downloaded my pattern, and will start it tomorrow!
