Wish Stones Swap

Because of the winter storm here in the northeast, my wishstones are done and ready to be sent out tomorrow. So lucky 5 of you, Roberta, sue, jim, lisa and kelli will be getting your rocks very soon. Well, as soon as i can get out again. Dianne

I have rec'd only one stone so far, thank you HandyOne! Could it really be my luck that the four people who haven't sent yet all have my name?? I realize the last send day was Monday so I'm hoping a couple are en route!! :O)

I've received one gratitude stone (I can't read the name on the package ;)), several clear stones (from Kelli?), and one neat "nature" stone in a little hand-sewn baggie from Jessica.

Sorry I haven't sent mine out yet! They're ready to go, I just haven't been able to make it to the post office since I've hardly been in town for the past couple of weeks. I'm doing a Renaissance Festival four hours out of town, every weekend, and it's kicking my butt ... ;) Then on top of that, my Significant Other caught that flu bug that's going around and I had to rescue him from work and cosset him. Anyway, my stones will be going out early next week ... Sorry sorry, and I hope you like 'em anyway!

I received a cool blue stone today that says 'Bloom' from Jessica today! Love the little handmade bag it's in. Looks kind of like a robin's egg--neat! Thanks!!! So, that makes two!! :O)

Well, I was almost correct, THREE of my partners are marked 'not sent'. It's great that Crystal (Jeweled Claws) posted what was up with her and that she's planning to send them this week. I realize 'life happens' and never give threes when something is late as long as I do, in fact, receive it. I emailed Sue and Jim and, hopefully, they'll repsond. Silly if you have a really good rating not to send in a swap with FIVE partners, five ones could definitely bring you down a bit. Hope everyone else's rocks are on the way!! :O)

Thanks for the update, I'll look forward to receiving it, JeweledClaws. Sue (heartsnyou) did respond right away (I didn't know if I should keep posting here as I don't know if anyone is still even looking here) and said she'd been very sick and that hers would go out this week, too. Well, it's Friday and both Sue and Jim still say 'not sent'. I do think since they responded to my emails that they'll send them. It's when you get no response that you know you're in trouble. :O)

I have an update--rec'd an empty envie from Sue yesterday. Either someone stole the stone or it was ripped in transit and fell out. Anyway, Sue was SO NICE and said she'd send another. I did notice she had written 'wish stone' on the envie and have seen some posts on other swaps saying that people rec'd an empty or partially filled envie. I sometimes wrtie on the outside 'swap-bot-earring swap' or something and will NOT do that going forward, too bad people are so dishonest everywhere. Still no stone from Crystal and Jim still says 'not sent' so I emailed him today again to remind him. :O)

It feels like I sent those forever ago, but maybe it wasn't that long, after all. Still, I hope mine don't get lost. ;P I think there was a postcard in that batch of mail that mysteriously got returned for no reasonable reason that I could figure out, too, so maybe the mail fairies were having a tantrum, or something.

I think Sue sent a wish stone to me, too -- I also received an envelope that had a hole in the side and no stone, but the envelope is stubbornly hiding in my bag so I can't check the return address on it right now. ;)

Guess what? I rec'd your stones today, Crystal!! YAY! Very nicely done, I love 'em!! Cool idea to put the heart on one, too! Thanks so much!! Okay, two to go!! :O)

It looks like we might have had a person or two who did not send. I saw another swap solve this with just a few swap fairies. So, if you want to be a fairy, message me.

If you think you might be victim to a no-send, try messaging them. If they don't respond in a week, message me with their username and I'll assign a fairy to you.

I have been really keeping on top of this one! :O) I think Sue (heartsnyou) might have had her stones stolen...my envie was ripped open with nothing inside as was Crystal's...but Sue generously offered to re-send to me but I don't know about anyone else. Jim did answer my first email saying he was sending but hasn't responded to the one I sent Monday, 3/12, but I do think he inteds to send. Perhaps if you as swap co-ordinator also contacted the two no sends that might help. Thanks so much!! :O)

I know there's some viruses going around. I've been sick off and on for 3 1/2 weeks. So, it's possible something like that is slowing them down.

Yeah, life happens ... and I don't really mind, as long as swappers don't intend on abandoning me. I totally understand life getting in the way, and I'm not really just out to Get Stuff, anyway.

Kiki: I'm glad my stones got to you -- yay! And whew, too, since now I don't have to worry that they all got eaten by the postal fairies en route. ;) Here's hoping my others arrive safely and are well-loved, too. :D
