I'm so excited to be hosting my first swap here on SWL! For this swap we will be creating a whimsey jar for our partner. requirements for the jar...it can be glass or plastic, and must be at lease 12 oz or larger. When you sign up, please post 5-6 themes below that you'd love to receive, and your partner will choose one from them and create your jar around that theme. Please try not to pick hard to find super specific themes...it's ok to put one or two in the mix but also give at least one pretty open interpretation one too. Not all of us live near big cities with a vast array of supplies ;-) Once partners are assigned, select one theme from your partners list, and decorate the outside of your jar using that them, and then fill the jar with as much as you can stuff in it! Ideas for filling jars...stickers, or sticker flakes, Prima or silk flowers, mailing labels, washi tape rolls or samples, buttons, brads, beads, ribbon, fibers, small ink pads and stamps, sequins, Google eyes, used postage stamps, interesting old playing cards, fun shaped paper clips, table scatter, bits, and thingies, and thing a ma bobs galore! Everything inside the jar does not have to perfectly fit the theme, but do try to adhere to it in some way. (For instance, you could throw in buttons and ribbon that don't match up with a dog theme in any way, but still include dog stickers, and an ATC with a dog) Please put some time and effort into what you send. Don't just throw a sticker on the jar and call it good! I reserve the right to ban anyome that I feel can or will not follow through with the swap before partners are assigned.
