Description:

Whether we are going around the world or just next-door with our kids they need something to do along the way. New activities and toys are in order for all the fall trips, church services, doctor visits and so forth we have coming up.

In this swap you will buy 4 toys or activity items for one child ages 1-5. This should cost you a total of $15 max. For moms with kids under one you may join, but know the items you receive may be for a one year old. I took a 10 hour plane ride with my 4.5 month old and at that age she was most entertained playing on the changing table in the tiny bathroom.

Remember the items need to be "quiet" (at least not to loud) toys or activities because they may be used in church or on a plane. The only exception to noisy toys is if you choose to send infant toys to a child under one; those always seem to rattle, ring or talk.

Your four items could be:

• Crayons – fat or regular, please post size preference below.

• Coloring book

• Hot Wheels cars, trucks, or planes

•Stuffed teddy bear, Elmo, Barney

• Doll – small parts (tiny shoes, ect…) can be removed by parent for children under 3.

• Book

• Wooden Puzzle

• My Little Pony or other small horses

I know there are more small toys, feel free to send me more suggestions. Basically new toys your child has never seen = entertainment on a long drive, flight, visit with Aunt Sue or church.

Pick four items or toys according to the likes of your partner’s child. I know many small toys say “Not for children 3”. If you have a problem with receiving such items please let your partner know by commenting below. Personally I take the small parts off the toy and let my 19 month old play away.

Newbies welcome with a well filled out profile. All participants must have a 4.8 or higher with no no-sends in the last six months. Everyone please comment below with your child’s first name, age, likes, and size of crayons preferred if you are to receive them.

Everyone must rate!

US only, sorry!

Love this---I think I get more excited about getting mail for my daughter than for me sometimes! I'm in and my DD is 2. Thanks!

I'm glad you both like the idea. I actually thought about it when trying to think of things I need to buy for a 10 hour flight we are taking in a couple months.

Here’s my daughter’s info: Kaitlyn Joy, 19 months old, large crayons

Likes: fluffy stuffed animals, planes (Air Force kid, go figure), babies (her dolls), coloring/drawing, phones, books (she’s a book nut), any new toy really.
