Description:

Just a quick note up front- I contacted PenguinParade to see if she would be hosting a Bookmas swap this year. I also asked whether it would be okay for me to host it if she wasn't going to. It's been a week and the message its still unread, so I've decided to go forward with the swap before time runs out. If anyone thinks that this will cause a problem or upset PenguinParade, let me know and I can cancel the swap :)

With that said, I borrowed most of the description from PenguinParade's previous swap too :)

4th Annual Happy Bookmas!!

Whether you celebrate Christmas, the Solstice, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Mistletoemas, or whatever else you may celebrate, let's wish each other a Happy Holiday!

But this swap will be just a smidge different. Instead of the generic greetings for holidays, in District 13 we will celebrate HAPPY BOOKMAS!

Create a Happy Bookmas card for your partner. Maybe you want to use a literal translation of the holiday, or alter a book cover to work for Bookmas. Whichever you decide, just make it nice and in card form :) Be sure to include a book recommendation (or several) in the card.

This year I thought it would be fun to change it up a little and include a book ornament instead of a bookmark. It can be straightforward and simple. It just needs to look like a book and have a hanger/loop so your partner can put it right up on the tree :)

So, to sum it up:
1 Bookmas card with a book recommendation
1 book ornament, store bought or handmade

Happy Swapping,
Spencerette
