Description:

I was recently introduced to the amazingly fun art of whimsy jars, and I must admit...I am hooked! I adore the creativity of decorating the outside, and then getting to open it, and fill it with oodles of tiny treasures. So, I have decided to begin hosting a series of whimsy jar swaps. My goal is to have 1 themed jar a month for the next few months, and this months theme is going to be "Christmas/Winter."

For this swap you will create 1 whimsy jar by decorating the outside, and then filling it as full as possible with goodies. Inside you must also include 10 things you love about the Christmas/winter season. This can be written or typed onto ome piece of paper and folded or rolled up, or you can put each thing onto a separate slip of paper and fold or roll it up and place them in the jar. For the other things to fill the jar with, here are a few ideas...

Small decorative Christmas or winter themed items, such as snowflakes or Santas. Tiny Christmas ornaments. Christmas or winter themed stickers, memo pads, or erasers. Small pens. Decorative brads or pins. Handmade or store bought beads, or buttons. Ribbon or washi tape in shades of green, red, gold, silver, etc. Christmas colored Pom poms. Blue and white colored Pom poms for the winter theme. These are just a few ideas, anything that fits the Christmas or winter theme is permitted.

Your jar may be made from plastic or glass, and should be larger than a baby food jar. Let's say 4 oz or larger...something that will hold approx 1/2 cup of water or more.

If you have any question, please feel free to send me a message or post below. For more ideas on whimsy jars, search google or Pintrest...there are fantastic ideas out there! Because of the mailing cost, I will be keeping these swaps USA only, however, if you are an International swapper, and would be interesting in swapping whimsey jars please post below, and maybe you can connect and set up private swaps with one another!

REQUIREMENT RECAP: USA ONLY, 1 partner, 1 jar, that holds at least 1/2 cup liquid, or a minimum of 4 oz, decorated outside, filled inside with: 1.either 1 slip, or 10 slips of paper on which you write 10 things you love about the Christmas and/or winter season AND 2. Once you have placed the 10 things you love, stuff it full with as much Christmas and/or winter theme stuff you can fit.

If you recieve a jar that fits the above requirements that is mailed on time, please rate a 5. Hearts are at your own discretion, as always!

I reserve the right to ban anyome whom I feel can not or will not meet the requirements for this swap. You must have a fully filled out profile, have no recent 1's or 3's, and have completed at least 6 type 2 and 3 swaps.

I would love a light pink and/or white whimsy jar to match my light pink Christmas tree.

I would love red and white and I collect santas for my mantle and would love to put this jar next to them. Thanks!
