**A-Z 26 photo a day challenge**

I am uneasy hosting this swap public, but know there wouldn't be enough interest with this swap to host it in my swap group. Requirements are going to be very strict, because there is a LOT of time and effort, and cost in this swap. I'm sorry for those who don't meet requirements, but I'm just trying to protect those otherwise -- as I can't angel this swap. Would LOVE to see some of my swap friends do this with me!!!

I got this idea from a photo challenge I am taking part on instagram. You might be familiar with them, they come up every month and have a different theme or idea to take a picture of every day, then you tag your picture with #photoaday or #octoberphotoaday #photochallenge, etc. One I particularly like is #fmsphotochallenge.

This is not an electronic swap, and doesn't require you to have instagram.

What this swap is - You will be sending your partner 26 printed photographs along with a letter. Each picture will be relating to a letter of the alphabet. E.g, "A" "B" "C"

• It is a personal challenge as well as a swap.

• You will have to take a minimum of 13 photographs for your partner NEW for this challenge (if you are taking part on one of these challenges on flickr/instagram, you can use those pictures). You can use your phone, a digital camera, your webcam, a polaroid, any camera of your choice.

• The other 13 photographs you send to your partner can be old photos taken by you/of you however CAN NOT be ones taken offline, google etc. They can be old photos taken from your instagram/photobucket/facebook/old photorolls from your phone, but they cannot be taken by stock photos or professional random ones.

• Get the photos printed off or order them online & send to you, then put together the swap for your partner. I know there are a lot of websites online where you can order prints for free or very cheap, a lot of them are 5p/10p and get big discounts. There's snapfish.com, photobox, etc & there's even some apps. You can even go to photo/camera shops, or a grocery shop, or print them off at home on photo paper. Please, if you are not willing to justify spending the money to get the photos printed PLUS send the swap to your partner DON'T JOIN.

Using the alphabet You will be sending your partner 26 printed photographs you have taken/featuring you/taken of you, using the alphabet A-Z. E.g., Day 1. Photo of something... A. Day 2. Photo of something... B. Day 3 Photo of something... C. D. E. F.

You have to complete the alphabet and send your partner 26 printed photographs representing, relating to, or a motif of the letters A-Z. Get creative, it doesn't have to be obvious like "A for apple" it can be a photograph of you being "adventorous" etc.

This isn't for photographers so please don't feel pressured to take "good" photos. If you have a camera on your phone, just use that! I have set the deadlines so you have 26 days to take 26 photos, but remember of 13 need to be ones you have taken for this challenge, the rest can be old ones.

You have a lot of time for this swap because you need time to print off the pictures, etc but please DO NOT CHEAT!!! If you can't commit to taking 1 picture a day, miss a day and take 2 the next day, then that's fine, as long as you complete the A-Z; but as long as you are taking a minimum of 13 pictures new for this swap challenge and the complete swap is A-Z pictures, then it is ok. Communication is key between you &your partner, please let them know how you are getting on.

Please make sure you're ordering your prints ahead of time!! There is no excuse for late sends, you have much longer than 26 days to do the challenge, get the prints, and send the swap off.

requirements 25+ swaps completed, type 1 swaps do not count towards the 25. active swapper full profile etc etc... need i say more... no newbies, no one with 1/2 swaps completed. etc etc.

Please do not just order the 26 prints you've taken to your partner via a website. If you're ordering the prints from offline, you have to get them sent to you and put the swap together yourself.

Include a note/letter in the swap to your partner about how you found the challenge and about the pictures you included.

This is a long, hard and serious swap. Please only join if you are serious as well.

What to do Take 1 picture representing or relating to each letter of the alphabet. You may start at any time, but the idea is that you try to take 1 photo every day for 26 days. As we only have to take 13 minimum, you have time to print off the photos, get the swap together, etc. I would love to see you try 26, as that's what I'm going to do!

Also include a written letter for your partner about the swap, & your username, swap name, tc.

1 photo per letter you must complete the alphabet.

Minimum 13 of the pictures have to be new for the challenge and taken within the deadline on your camera. The rest can be old pictures you already have saved.

I don't expect many people to join this swap as it is a huge swap. But, I am up for it, and would love someone to do this with me. Please let me know if you watch this swap but no one has joined, if you would like to do a private swap with me instead.

Please no dirty, horrible, offensive, etc photos. They must be fresh printed for your partner, for this swap. Use common sense... This is a beautiful swap!

You've done this swap if.../rate a 5 if You completed an A-Z 26 day photo challenge, sending your partner 26 printed photographs you took or of you, 13 of which were new for this challenge, the other 13 could have been old. You also included a letter in the swap to your partner.

PLEASE NOTE, if someone with "bad" ratings is in this swap, does not mean they are IN the swap until I assign partners! Sometimes I don't ban people from the swap until day of assigning partners. Please don't message me about this. Just trust me! :)
