International Swap! It's a book club - swapbot style! I am hoping to make this a regular thing if enough people are interested. There will be a short book to read and then you will send your partner a letter telling them what you thought about the book and one little item (handmade or otherwise) that is somehow related to the book. Everyone will have one parnter. Anyone with a no send within 30 days of the swap close will be banned as will anyone with a rating of 4.7 or lower. The book I have chosen for this month is "The Orange Girl" by Jostien Gaarder

I had a hard time finding 'The Orange Gril' until I searched the authors name at the library and found 'The Orange Girl'! LOL Looking forward to this swap.

I was hoping to get this book at the library, but there aren't any copies of it in the larger area library system. I'm sure I could buy it at B &N, but I'm going to check some used book places first.

I'm in . . . I just looked at the library catalog and they have a copy on the shelf at one of our branches . . . should be at my branch in just a couple of days (and I work there, so how easy can you get?)

Hi there, If anyone's not sure if they want to read it... amazon.co.uk have a 'Search inside' on this one where you can read a few pages. Also, plenty of 'new and used' at nice low prices if you can't get to a library. Great idea this one, I'm looking forward to it.

Got my copy yesterday! The used books plus postage were going to cost as much as a new one, so I ended up getting a new copy. I was surprised that Jostein is male.
