NH Mail Art for Beginners: Autumn (Intl)

Easy, fun, and low-cost swap! No artistic skill required!

Start with an envelope, pre-made or one you create yourself.

Embellish it in an autumn theme in whatever medium you like (watercolor, markers, collage, rubber stamping, etc.).

Do NOT just slap a couple of stickers on the envelope and call it done. Put some effort and time into your creation.

You are required to decorate only the front of your envelope, but you can add art to the back if you wish.

In the envelope, enclose a letter in which you tell your partner something about you and autumn. The letter should be more than a couple of sentences. Write a friendly, conversational letter.

Please note: This is an autumn themed swap - NOT Halloween. As well, keep in mind that autumn is a totally different season in each of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

Please rate your partner promptly and accurately, and communicate if there are problems.

You MUST have a reasonably filled profile to be in the swap. There is a sticky thread in the Newbie Helpers group if you don't know what to include on your profile. You must at least have a list of some of your likes and interests AND your colour and style preferences (or a statement that you are open to any colour and style).

The Tough Stuff

• Failure to read and follow ALL of the above requirements could result in either being dropped from the swap OR in being rated a 3 by your partner.
• Anyone who has not completed their profile properly will be dropped without notice.
