Swappers must have permission to use porn mags from their partners, therefore PM'ing them first. My intentions of this swap was to just do what you want, just simple fun. When I was a kid my friend and I used to make workbooks out of mags. I thought as you flip page by page you would come up with cool ideas. Maybe doodle on a page, maybe add things to put on a picture of a table like a vase or whatever, maybe on a page add art to a picture, draw things on peoples faces, maybe decorate something on a page that your partner could use in their crafts, maybe a paper doll out of a page with a person on it, etc. Whatever your heart desires. Please ask me if you have any more questions!

I feel like I won't know what to do, but I just got a new set of markers!! I'm in!

I'm going to have to drop out of this swap. Things are just getting too hectic for me now, with my son's wedding coming up in mid-August, and me doing the reception dinner and decorating, etc. I'm starting to get pretty stressed. I did start my magazine, but unfortunately picked an InStyle magazine which is 500 pages long! Good grief. I have graffitied, painted, drawn, mixed media-ed and collaged about 15 pages so far, but there is no way I can finish. So, I'm going to wish you all, all the best in this really fun swap. Maybe I catch another one in the future when things settle down. And next time, I WON'T pick an InStyle magazine! Ha!

I used to do this as a kid also. I am a little surprised and amused to find that others used to do the same thing! ^^

And as for me, I don't mind any 'risky' magazines, I actually would find it quite interesting to see what somebody would do with a magazine like that so if my swapper buddy would like to, go right ahead! Can't wait to start!

does every single page have to be altered? this sounds like such a FUN swap!!!

You don't have to alter every page, as far as decorating and going to town, but try to do at least something on every page. Even if you just make funny faces on one and put a quote on one, etc. Since there's quite a few pages in a mag. you may spend 2 minutes on a page and 10 minutes on another. I hope I'm explaining this OK.

I don't mind if I get a porn or a risque magazine...this sounds fun...I better get to work :):)

Just letting everyone know that I will be on vacation from Aug. 3-10, so will not have a computer.

I have moved up the send date to Sept. 17 to give everyone a little more time!

Hi! The response that I got to extending the send out date has been that most people would like more time, so I have extended the date to Sept. 17, but no later. For those that are ready to send by the original date, please feel free to send. Early is always a good thing! Everyone keep in mind that lots of effort has been put into this, so I hope you will all rate according. Everyone has different styles and ideas, and different interpretations of how to graffiti their magazines. Also, some pages may not have as much done to them as other pages. Really it's what inspires us as we look at each page, and some pages are just plain difficult to do much with them. Not every page has to be "art" like I said. Some may want to make instructions on what to do with a particular page. Thank you for joining, swaps are not considered late now until after Sept. 17, and hope everyone has had fun!

You should make another swap using a porn magazine. That way ahead of time people can do this. And anyone who would be offened would not join. Plus have to be 18+ yrs old to join it. I would love to join but I have too many swaps to handle as we go into the busy season at work.
