Fill a Pencil Case!

It's almost August which means... SCHOOL SUPPLIES! This is one of my favorite times of the year. I stock up on notebooks, pens, tape, gluesticks and so much more for my writing and crafting projects. This swap gives me (and you, if you sign up!) an excuse to buy some great things in those Back to School sales.

You will buy a pencil case (zippered pouch, sliding box, pencil box, etc.) and put into it at least TEN (10) different writing implements. Different means different styles, types, brands, colors, etc. For example, you could put in one blue Papermate pen and one black Papermate pen or one black Pentel R.S.V.P. pen and one black Papermate pen, but NOT two black Papermate pens. Pens, pencils, highlighters, etc. are all welcome as long as each is different in some way.

Want to make it special? Put in more than 10! Or include a favorite type of pen and let your partner guess which is your favorite... but give hints! Or include some other little goodies in the box like erasers, mini-post-its, paperclips, pencil sharpener, etc.

The pencil case and everything in it must be new and unused. No free advertising pens you picked up at the bank. Everything should be worth about $5-$10 (hit those sales).

Give your fellow writer some fresh inspiration and new things with which to write! Who knows? Maybe the next best seller will have been written with a pen you sent... or one you got in this swap! :-)
