No its senders choice they can send as much as they wish. The package must be at least of Med size. The bubble wrap ones like in the post offices run like $1.99 or something along that size.

Might what to make it an even thing. Like Senders must use this size envelope and spend this amount. I have been in many situations where i have sent a big package and received a small packaged no bigger then the usual standard envelope. It's only making it fair for everyone. And also it doesn't state whether items are suppose to be store bought or used stuff. I would be highly annoyed if i received used dirty items.

The envelope you speak of where I live is about 4x8 and I'm sure that must be too small for this? Someone may even think it's too big! This is an international swap so that size envelope might be pricey to send. There's also the issue that someone might just send an envie full of paper scraps, handmade or dollar store items, which even if this is a sender's choice swap it would seem kind of off.

Can we decorate a priority mail envelope? They're less expensive to sen internationally than the pretty envies.

I paid $1.79 for mine at the post office. You can make your own but if you'd like measurements I shall send this too. 6 3/8 x 8 3/4 that is in Inches. This is the size we will send or larger. I hope that you add more then just paper for your partner but it is up to the sender. Mine is a variety of things. And if you'd like to decorate one of that size that's okay with me. Its very hard on evies out here and so that is why I suggest foam or bubble wrapped ones.

I haven't been greatly impressed with the quality of what I have been receiving in swaps so far, so I'm afraid I'm going to drop out.

Okay that is fine, I on the other hand am just glad to get my package with goodies, that I can use or pass along at other swaps. I hope we all have fun and get lots of goodies. Enjoy.

I love the idea of this, but like @Angie1974 I have received really ordinary thrown in junk, that I have been really disappointed in.

If you could edit the swap to a dollar amount value, or size or weight, or even a list of ten things and people choose three of those ten (for example), it would make it much more fair. Especially as I am in Australia and most swappers seem to be in America. I don't mind sending lovely stuff, but an envie with scraps of torn, dirty paper (YES I have received that) is really more disappointing than not being in a swap at all. @Mesha and @Pikachu089 I hear you girls! ♥

I think it's all in the "luck of the draw." Sometimes I've gotten excellent, generous envies and sometimes boring ones. It's OK, I keep swapping cuz the really good ones are worth a few lousy ones. I always like to please who I send to. Keep doing that and others will get the idea.
