How many of you have Etsy items that you really really really want, but you still haven't bought??? Well.... now you can finally have it. Once partners are assigned you will go to YOUR Etsy favorites and buy yourself something. It can be a $2 item or even a $20 item. Be sure and order it by the swap deadline. This item is for YOU. You will have it sent to YOU. After ordering it, you will send your assigned partner a naked postcard. Any kind of postcard. Tell your partner: What item you bought for yourself ? Which Etsy shop you bought it from ? and why you chose it ? You must not have any recent 1's or 3's. This is an international swap because the only thing you have to actually mail to a partner is a postcard. Each swapper is responsible for the ordering of their own Etsy favorite item.

I am new to postcard swapping. What is a 'naked' postcard?

@GreenDuck I remember asking that same question just over a year ago. Let's just say that some crazy images came into my mind. lol. Anyway..... it just means that you actually send the postcard addressed and stamped and written on rather than putting it into an envelope and mailing it. Most of us like our postcard to have actual stamps on them and messages. That's the fun of opening our mailbox and seeing an actual postcard! Join us!

I think this is a great idea and I will join. I have it on my watchlist (and on the bottom on my profile) and when it gets closer to the date I will join. (I just get nervous when swaps stay on my dash a long time & if my dash looks real crowded). LOL

@nisforneville ... this kind of swap is perfect because when my package arrives I can pretend that one of you bought it for me as a gift (when my husband goes and gets the mail) and he won't be mad at me for buying it- cause he won't know. ;)
