Sharrena: What is a used bus ticket? I'm not sure what a U.S. equivalent would be.

Hi Artistic, emm the only way i can describe it is when you pay your fare on a Bus you get a ticket ,but if you want you can send a used train ticket ,if that helps . and if any one else want to send a train ticket instead of a bus ticket that fine by me ... :o)

What about our city's local free paper? I, personally, find those more interesting/entertaining.

5trawberry that will be fine, also if anyone is having trouble getting a bus or train ticket, you could send a theatre or cinema ticket instead ... :)

^ I was going to ask about that, because my town doesn't have public transportation since it's small. Could we use any type of ticket from a local event/theater/business? And about the newspaper...could we send a select few sections of the paper instead of the whole thing? I'm thinking that would bulk up the envelope quite a bit.

Hi Papersky Yes that would be fine about sending any type of ticket , and you don't have to send all the news paper, As it can be quite bulky , but please choose some local news items on it, as this is the main part of the swap... i'm sooo glad that you like the swap idea :o) Sharrena

Hi bettysmama, if you want you can always send a shop receipt in instead of a ticket , ... :o) And if anyone else is having trouble finding a used bus/train /theater ticket you can always send in a shop receipt instead hope this helps ... Sharrena :o)

We don't have buses or trains that run thru our town. What could I replace it with? Maybe a county fair book? I don't know. lol. anyway I would love to join this one. thanks

Is there any way the sending date can be extended? I'd really like to participate, but it doesn't leave me much time to gather things up on top of work, ect.

This sounds like a very fun swap. I will probably use a ticket stub from one of our sporting event. We have nearly every major sport here in the Phoenix area.

I would like to join but I live in a beach town and we dont have metro, bus, train anything like that. If you dont hae an auto, motorcycle or boat you will get no where with out wlking...

Can't help but laugh when reading the requirements. I live in a town with a population of 1800. No bus/train and certainly no postcards featuring my hometown. But it sure wouldn't cost much to send the newspaper and I wouldn't even have to take the ads out. LOL
