Description:

For my sample ATC, I used water color paper & stamped the image with Staz On ink. After it dried, I painted the entire card with Natural Linen. Then I highlighted a couple areas with Solar Gold.

You may use as many colors as you want, as long as you at least use 2..

You can also use glossy cardstock for this technique. You can also heat emboss your image if you wish.

Jackie, what kind(s) of ink are you working with for this and the with little pots of ink? I'm a bit confused. (Well, my children echo in my brain, when weren't you confused?) :-)

O, Peggy O! That sounds so familiar! Every time I say I'm losing my mind, my children tell me I can't lose something I never had! lol

Hi Peggy. The ink is Staz On. It is a solvent archival in that will not bleed once it dries.
The little pots of paint I wrote about are the Twinkling H20s.

Any ink that can be used for watercolour will work. I prefer Archival by Ranger but it does take a bit longer to dry. I like it because it gets into the crevasses of the watercolour paper better.

Will anyone be disappointed if I draw (with waterproof ink) my own design to paint rather than use a stamp? I don't have any stamps - yet ;)

works fine for me!
