UK Newbies. A chance to shine

I recently received a request by a lovely Newbie called Emma who asked if I would do a swap with her to build her rating. I said "Of course!" But it made me think about the days when I was new and desparate to prove that I am a good person and trustworthy.

So I am doing a swap aimed specifically for newbies, but seasoned swappers can join too! There will be no filter on the swap but I will try to weed out anyone who looks like a potential flaker.

The aim of this swap is to support each other. Look at your partners profile and send a gift that they will love. Remember that the name of the swap is your chance to SHINE so may I suggest you send to impress. It doesn't have to be huge or extravagant, in fact I often find a thoughtful gift chosen with love will earn hearts. With this in mind please make sure you have filled in your profile. If it is empty I may ban you from the swap because opportunist flakers tend not to care enough to fill in a profile.

When you receive your gifts please PLEASE rate your partner. I know it is easy to forget but this whole swap depends on giving your partner feedback and helping her ratings.

I realise that this swap is a dangerous one because Newbies are an unknown entity and sadly some people will join a website like this one just to get "free stuff" and I am praying no-one does this but the chances are we may get one. But remember this swap is about sending not getting. The point is to send something so you will get a good rating, and to rate your partner so she can build trust (If you don't receive anything let me know and I will send you a little something)

If a fair gift is sent you must rate a 5, if its dirty, used or trash you can rate a 3. And if you love the gift be generous with your heart!
