Tea swap # 5

I am very interested in this swap, but have a question. Our local teas are not in individually sealed bags, would people want these in like little baggies? Or just the sealed tea bags like from Tazo?

I placed just the individual tea bags in a zip-lock and them put them in an envolope. They made it just fine. Other people only have loose tea available. This to is fine, as most of us have different tools for making the tea.

Alright, I'm a newbie, so I'm just clarifying - we're sending a TOTAL of 18 tea bags, correct? Six to each partner, 3 partners per person?

That´s correct :) So 6 bags to 3 swappers!

Or of course you can send more than 6 teabags to each person, it´s not forbidden ;)

I particapted in the last swap and received some delicious teas so I just have to sign up again, yay! :)

lauramum, i am sure that is fine. it takes a while for things to reach their partners, and normally newcomers are always welcome. :)

lauramum, i would fill out your profile though, people often ban people who dont have their profiles filled out because other swappers have nothing to go on for the swaps, and it also may be an indication of a fake profile. *not saying yours is necessarily *

Ok, I clicked the "sent" button but I've not gone to the postoffice cause I'm sure I will need to fill out "custom forms" for the two that are overseas...(all three are in evelopes tho)....so don't worry they are on their way in the morning!! Doris..jakfrostwife

I know it says the 20th is the date items must be sent by but is that also the opening date or can we just open the package when we receive it? Thanks, Laura

I send my enevlopes this early early morning (around 01:00 after midnight). The envelopes are on their way to USA, France and USA. I hope they arreived soon.

QUESTION OR IDEA

I received a lot of tea envelopes from the past tea bag swap. In the most of the envelopes there are only teabags.

Please girls put a little note with your teabags. It so nice to get those little notes. And they are handy to say thanks to the sender when the swap-bot name is on that note.

I hope you all like this idea.

Thank you Schlabs (Sandra) for your selection of tea's. You write on your note that it is strange to send tea's that i can bought also. I live in Germany for 3 years now and didn't buy that much german tea. I always took tea from the netherlands. (shame on me). So i only now the Limbo tea. Its a tea i send a lot with swaps. So i realy like your selection and wil try them and buy the best ones.

Just got another package. How lovely. It had the tea place in an origami folded paper and a cute tea ATC (my first ever)!! Thank you JM Keller. I love it all. Things may be bigger in TX, because the envelope I recieved was larger than normal, lol.

I am Kate. I'm glad you like the teas. The douglas fir tea smells like a tree but tastes kind of herbal and minty. I thought it would be something nice and different that most people hadn't tried.

I received my teas from Poggy123 this week, and today after playing in the snow all day I came in and made up a nice pot of apricot tea. I wouldn't choose it as my everyday tea, but it's lovely for once-in-a-while. I've taken the singles into the office and will enjoy them over the next couple of weeks when the facilities manager seems to be "conserving" energy! :)

This was a marvelous swap, so fun to go through my tea cabinet and pick out stuff for other people to enjoy. I was thrilled to get my three packages, they were so much fun to open and smell.
