Description:

For this swap, we will create a flat cut-out reptile of some sort. It can be realistic, fantasy, imaginary. Anything goes really!

I just wanted to have a fun swap that was a bit different to the normal swaps doing the rounds at the moment.

So, please be as creative, artistic and colourful as you would like to be and create a reptile that is no less than 15cm (6 inches) long.

Take your reptile on a few outings around your town - maybe for a hike, or to a movie or the park. Perhaps your reptile could meet your Great Uncle Hugo, or kiss a Police Officer? Remember to take photos!

It is okay to send photocopies of photos you've taken, but please use coloured ink. The idea is to show your partner a little of your life and your particular corner of the world.

Please include a note telling about the places your reptile visited, which can be handwritten or typed. No particular length, but preferable long enough that your partner will learn a little about you and your town.

Now, give your reptile a name (is it a male? female? totally up to you) and send it to your partner.

Please no unexplained low ratings and yes, I will allow unrated newbies to join if you have a well filled out profile. If I don't have to scroll, it is not well filled out.

This is meant to be a fun swap, so please only join up if you can commit to the effort involved.

You're not a flaker are you? Good. I didn't think so. I really don't need those dramas and neither does your partner.

I'm allowing plenty of time for you between last day to sign up and last day to send, but encourage sending sooner if possible.

As this is sender's choice, you can get started as soon as you like.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE COST OF POSTAGE, AS YOU MAY, OR MAY NOT, SEND TO ANOTHER COUNTRY. SO ONLY JOIN UP IF YOU CAN COMMIT TO THIS AWESOME, FUN, UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE WORLDWIDE FRIENDS.

Any questions, etc please don't hesitate to let me know.

HAPPY SWAPPING ♥

http://www.photility.com/ this is a free download...ask it to "run" and then you will find it in your programs under the start button...I picked the section called "photo sheet"...I am using it to put 4 photos on one 4" x 6" piece of Kodak photo paper...open the program, open your photo file, (half page size) click on photo and drag across screen to deposit data in it's file...it will show 4 of the same shot until you drag 4 photos over then it will display 4 different shots...click start & it saves the compilation into your original file, where you can print it from...(then close)...the point is...you can print 4 2" x 3" shots of your REPTILE'S adventures on one 4 x 6 sheet...saves on printer ink and looks way nicer than a photocopy. That is what I am doing with my 12 shots.

Thank you @RETIREDARTGAL that is great information for us all. I appreciate how you've gone to the trouble of writing out all the steps.

Can I send you my ACTUAL reptile? Or might he have a problem getting through customs, you think? :-) Will start having outings with him TONIGHT!!!

My chameleon Zane is having so much fun on his adventures and can't wait to see where his next destination will be. He's been telling me his life story so I've written it down for his next host.

My reptile nearly got blown away at the beach today! His first outing was almost his last. LOL
