AMA: Amazing Ink Monster mailart *Rawr*

Make an amazing ink monster. Rawr.

For this swap make mailart for your partner. This can be an ATC, a handmade postcard, a skinny, a rolo, a zine, more than one of these or whatever. Put it in an envelope or don't but just make sure it gets to your partner.

Create an ink monster. This is a fun technique where you take some ink and apply (drip) it onto paper and then with a straw (maybe one of those small coffee stirring straws) blow the ink out. This creates a random, crazy spot. Turn that into a monster and viola, you're good.

Do additional drawing to your monster with the same color ink or different or use other mediums, tools and techniques. Be creative on what type of paper you use - a book page, sheet music, graph paper or whatever. Create a background or friends for your monster - add accessories, features or whatever - be creative.

If you don't have ink but want to play, try using paint thinned with water.

Whatever you do, MAKE IT FABULOUS. Anyone who doesn't make it fabulous will be visited by monsters under their bed every night for a week.
