My son who is 10 is so excited about this swap! I hope your child is too.

We will be using a plastic bottle, cutting an opening and adding 2 new Matchbox/Hotwheels vehicles in the bottle.

Requirements

  • 16oz. or larger plastic bottle - juice, water or soda. I like to use the bottle that just have a twist off cap with no nozzle.

  • 2 Matchbox or Hotwheels vehicles

  • Swap card inside noting the name of the swap, your child's name and the date.

  • Must be brought to post office for exact postage. These are very, very cheap to send. :o)

How to package:

Wash your bottle inside and out and dry throughly. Once completely dry, cut a hole (notice solid black line in photo) and bend back. Glue cap on securly please. Insert 2 new cars, trucks or trailers into opening. Add some confetti, wrapping of some sort and maybe even a sucker, gum or bouncy ball...something fun. Tape shut with packaging tape, label it with the receivers name and address. Put your name and address on a second label and tape on the backside.

OK this is new to me! I have 2 boys that would LOVE receiving new matchbox/hot wheels, but I've never before sent a plastic bottle through the mail. Do I need to wrap it? Or just leave it so, with the shipping label on the front? I'm a bit unsure about sending too far away though.

Yes, just leave it unwrapped. That's what makes it so much fun to send. Add your label's and then you're set.

This is such a cute idea! I have 3 boys and wish there was some way to allow all of them to get a bottle. Guess we will just have to play that one by ear. You all might want to check out my Children's ATC and suprise swap round 2 if you kids want to get more active in the swap world this summer. Thanks for the really cool swap. Can't wait to tell my boys!

Hi all!! This is such a fun way to swap for kids and adults! It's amazing to see how much you can get in such a small bottle. Remember to tape your hole with packing tape please and address it.

breccamerie ~ If I get you for my partner, I will send you some extra ones. :o) I wish the computer could do that kind of matching. :o(

myrrhmaid, your po will laugh! They do with me to, but when you tell them what it's for, they just love it!

Hi Fun swap friends! I'm sorry I'm going to have to drop from the swap. I hope we get to catch up and do some more swaps sometime soon though! xox Laura
