Description: | |
In this swap, create one 3D doll, for your one partner that uses paper in some way. You could choose to do the whole doll in paper clay, or maybe just the head/feet/hands with a soft body....your choice. You could use paper clay, paper mache, paper pulp, etc....just don't make a flat 2D paper doll. Please be at least 4 inches. The styles, colors, and subject are sender's choice. Here are some examples and tutorials: Just as an FYI......home-made paper mache/clays, even store bought, all have different drying times, so this is not a project you can start late and finish in a day. You will need ample time to work on this doll so please plan accordingly. Also, I find that working in layers really helps. Using thin layers, you can can go back and cover cracks that form, or reshape the doll, etc. 2/28/14 Edit: Deadline changed to April 8, 2014. |
