Description:

I would like to do a series of ATC swaps. We will make 9 ATCs total (a complete page of the pocket collector sheets), each one a specific color. The theme will always be sender's choice, but not the color. You can add small touches of other colors, but the ATC must be at least 90% of the specified color (any shade and/or multiple shades).

You will create 1 ATC for 1 partner. The first color is red.

Remember that ATCs are 2.5 x 3.5 inches and should have a sturdy backing. On the back of it you should put the title of the ATC, the day in which you made it, the maker, and the name of the swap. You should also include a contact email (sometimes ATCs travel from one person to another, and at some point somebody might want to contact the artist). Please enclose your ATC in a plastic sleeve when sending to your partner.

For any questions, feel free to ask! I'll be happy to answer.

New at atc are the embellishments allowed to extend beyond the card just a little?

yea red my favorite color!

@sherig47 I personally do not like for them to extend beyond the card unless it's at the top.... I keep mine in a binder inside trading card sheets and if they extend beyond the edges of the card on either side then they won't fit in the sheets....I think the rule is to stay within the 2.5 x 3.5 guidelines....

I agree that the ATCs should be the right size. I have a really nice one I got in a trade that won't fit in my binder, either, because the embellishments are off to the side too far (and are way too thick). I guess if you were collecting them to put on a wall or something, it wouldn't matter.

thanks it is nice to know. I've only made 2 they fit in the plastic trading card sleeves so they should be ok right? I bought some of the already cut cards from Michaels I thought they were to thin so I've been making them thicker.

I use cereal boxes cut to size to make mine sturdy and I cover the back to keep everything neat:-)

I used toilet paper rolls if you flatten them and cut them in half they are just about the right size cover the back and wala lol. Recycled at Card stock.
