MKS February 2014 International kit swap
Group:Monthly Kit Swap
Swap Coordinator:cfroggie (contact)
Swap categories: Letters & Writing
Number of people in swap:4
Location:International
Type:Type 3: Package or craft
Last day to signup/drop:February 7, 2014
Date items must be sent by:February 22, 2014
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

To get this group back up and running let's keep this simple:

5 piece snail mail kit. Include items that would work together. For example: a letter set with matching pens, stamps, stickers etc... Coordinating notecards w/ complimentary washii tape etc... Maybe address labels or swap cards for your partner. The list is endless, just pick 5 this to help your partner send snail mail!

This swap will have 10 days to sign-up and two weeks to put items together. This is my first time hosting a kit swap so I am open to any and all suggestions.

Open to all members. I just did a sweep and removed any swapper with a rating below 4.9, I also removed anyone that had been inactive for more than 6 months or in a two cases never swapped at all.

I will also considered putting together a concurrent USA swap if there is demand for it (more than 5 members).

This is labelled a type 1 electronic swap. Just saying. :)

This is such a great idea, but I was wondering if there could be a USA version?? Or perhaps, you wouldn't mind if I coordinated a similar swap for USA??

cfroggie 02/ 3/2014 #

Yes. I can do a grp USA version after this one. Not on a monthly basis though. Also if anyone wants to do another region and can host it (since I'm in the USA) let me know.

Swapbot already has far too many USA Only swaps. :(

cfroggie 02/ 4/2014 #

Well, Swap-bot was created in the USA so it makes sense that we have a lot USA members. Unfortunately with our recent postal increase it's gotten a lot more $. :( I'll post mostly International swaps on here because the group was founded as an international grp.
